The moderating effects of ego-resilience on the relationships between academic achievement pressure and academic procrastination

Abstract
This study aimed to examine the moderating effects of ego-resilience on relationships between academic achievement pressure and academic procrastination. The questionnaires were distributed to 4, 5 and 6 grade elementary school students. The results were as follows. First, higher levels of academic achievement pressure predicted significantly higher academic procrastination. But higher levels of ego-resilience predicted significantly lower academic procrastination. Second, ego-resilience moderated the relation between academic achievement pressure and academic procrastination perceived by elementary school students.
